Photographed as an architectural feature for Design NJ Magazine, the architectural challenge for Susan Rochelle was to create compatibility with the grand existing structure. For the photo, time of year, weather, and sun angle contributed to the final result.
Architect Susan Rochelle’s pool house required design compatibility with this original structure bearing the placard “Markenbo” embedded adjacent to the front door. The mystery of the meaning remains unsolved.
